Rip-it Encore is a three-piece British Rock / Pop wedding and events band located in France, frequently travelling across Europe to perform at events, mostly destination weddings. We are one of the very few established British bands working full time as professional musicians in Europe!

As a wedding band close to Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur (PACA), France, we are fortunate to perform in this picturesque region where the sun always shines, and the castles from Gourdon to Gigondas (not forgetting the wine) are truly stunning! Each venue we visit has its own unique charm, from the rustic elegance of historic chateaux to the modern sophistication of seaside resorts. The air is filled with the scent of lavender and rosemary, adding an extra layer of romance to every celebration.

Our repertoire is as diverse as the landscapes, featuring everything from classic rock songs to contemporary hits, ensuring that every couple's special day is as memorable as possible. We take pride in creating a soundtrack that perfectly matches the ambiance and emotion of each moment, from the tear-jerking vows to the exhilarating first dance.

The joy and love we witness at each event are contagious, and it's an honor to contribute to these unforgettable memories. We often find ourselves inspired by the beautiful surroundings and the heartfelt stories of the couples we meet, which fuels our passion for music even more.

In between performances, we love exploring the region—sampling local wines, savoring delicious Provençal cuisine, and soaking up the vibrant culture that makes this area so special. It's a dream come true to call Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur one of our favourite destinations in France, and we can't wait to share our music with many more happy couples in this enchanting part of the world.

We receive numerous requests to perform at events & weddings in France and have done since 2009. One common inquiry we often encounter after BREXIT is, "Since BREXIT how can you legally perform in France as a band with British members? "

Our band comprises British members who hold European citizenship. This means you can rest assured that we will be present at your event, and not refused entry through the borders like many musicians travelling to France from the UK.

If you're organising an event in France, it's essential to ensure that both you and the band you hire comply with local regulations.

Since the UK's exit from the EU, British citizens are required to have a valid work visa to work in Europe and must declare their income and equipment at the borders.

Rip-it Encore can perform live music for both the cocktail hour and the evening. We can also provide either an unmanned or live DJ set after the show.

We provide a impressive cocktail set consisting of smooth jazz, blues, folk, and light pop to create a relaxing and social atmosphere before dinner for you and your guests.

If you prefer not to have live music during this time, we can alternatively offer a PA system and curated playlists. If you have any particular tracks that you'd like played via our system, just ask!

We possess a robust, state-of-the-art sound system complemented by impressive lighting, fog effects, and lasers! Every song we perform is accompanied by a custom-designed light show that synchronises perfectly with the music. No simple static or randomly flashing tacky lights here...

When booking Rip-it Encore for an event, a DJ is typically not required after the show. However, for those who love wild late-night parties, we also provide options for both live and unmanned DJ sets.

Additionally, we include a wireless microphone for speeches and provide dinner playlists.
